Marketing and Member Services Associate – Starnet Worldwide Commercial Flooring Partnership

The Marketing and Member Services Associate plays a key role in executing against the brand’s business development and member experience strategic plans. The successful candidate will employ analytical and creative thinking to further advance the agenda through promotion and outreach, content creation and value-added services.

Supervisor/Reports To: President & CEO

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the Zoho One platform as the core of all marketing and outreach efforts
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders in support of the marketing strategy
  • Enhance business development efforts through primary and secondary research
  • Improve and increase content amplification through repeatable structured processes
  • Coordinate the Starnet Design Awards, Dream Team and Saturday Coffee campaigns
  • Participate in all aspects of Starnet event planning – from concept to culmination
  • Maintain website and assist with management of outside tech vendors
  • Contribute to editorial content, press releases and industry outreach/events
  • Assist in the collection and tracking of marketing KPIs to demonstrate ROI

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate marketing communications in critical vendor organizations
  • Support Starnet University content creation
  • Act as liaison to creative agencies
  • Assist in sponsoring Starnet Committee programs
  • Attend relevant industry trade events when appropriate
  • Prepare member, vendor and stakeholder surveys

Required Education and Experience

  • BFA in graphic design, fine arts, film and video or BA in marketing with a focus on creative
  • Portfolio examples demonstrating a range of creative visual and copy content
  • Expert in one or more graphic design, video editing and web development software platforms
  • Knowledge of marketing automation systems and current AI enhanced implementation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in Zoho One environment

Work Environment

  • Remote work expected
  • Zoom calls throughout the week and across time zones to accommodate members
  • A minimum of 4 mandatory live events annually
  • Support of focused events, as needed

Travel Required

  • Mandatory live event attendance includes weekends and will total 12-16 overnights per year in the US and Canada
  • Additional event support includes weekends and will total 5-10 overnights per year

KPI – Key Performance Indicators

  1. Delivery and improvement of the Starnet Design Awards, Dream Team programs
  2. Documentation of all marketing initiatives as repeatable business processes with KPI’s
  3. Marketing activity aligned with strategy – KPI’s and project outcome summaries for all
  4. Outreach and brand awareness engagement, leads, impression gains on all platforms
  5. Refinement of collaboration and sponsor support aligned with Business Development team
  6. Total output in support of business development – training, videos, press coverage
  7. Increased outreach performance per KPI’s with level or declining cost per impression
