| Project Manager. Our client in Columbus, Ohio is currently seeking a Project Manager to fulfill a contract opportunity. The role requires the essential functions required to ensure the success of client projects, and may have cross-functional and enterprise wide responsibilities. The candidate will manage medium/large projects involving multiple technologies, functions or customers.
The candidate must be able to:
Partner with Program Manager and/or Project Sponsor in developing project plans to meet project objectives
Apply Project Management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to deliver project requirements and drive project execution through the full project lifecycle.
Manage competing demands relevant to scope, schedule, cost, risk and quality; and differing stakeholder requirements and expectations to satisfactory outcomes
Coordinate project activities of integrated functional teams
Track and communicate clearly and effectively regarding project status, issues, risks, etc to all levels of the organization
Assure Project Quality Management through periodic project progress, process, and / or product reviews against established standards
Effectively collaborate with multiple groups / Build strong working relationships
Effectively control project schedule and costs
Execute in depth project financial reporting
Work independently, potentially managing multiple projects concurrently
Work effectively in a fast paced environment
Qualifications:
Strong project management fundamentals a must
Communication (to technology leadership, adjacent leadership, and sponsor)
Ability to drive and influence the team to accomplish the project objectives
Experience managing SDLC projects preferred
Experience working with executive leadership preferred
Familiarity with a Retail environment is a plus
